Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 10 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

Add 8 cups of your chosen pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions (usually 8-12 minutes) until al dente.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Preparing the Sauces and Toppings

  1. 4

    Heat Sauces

In small saucepans, heat 2 cups of marinara sauce, 2 cups of alfredo sauce, and 1 cup of pesto sauce over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

  2. 5

    Prepare Toppings

While the sauces are heating, prepare your toppings. Chop your choice of vegetables and slice the olives. If using cooked meat, ensure it is warmed and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Assembling Your Pasta

  1. 6

    Build Your Pasta

In bowls or on plates, place the drained pasta as the base. Let the kids choose their favorite sauce to pour over the pasta.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

Allow kids to add their choice of toppings from the prepared selection: shredded cheese, sliced olives, chopped vegetables, cooked meat, and fresh basil.

  3. 8

    Serve

Once assembled, serve immediately and enjoy your Build Your Own Pasta creation!
