Method

For the Fried Redfish

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, cornmeal, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

  3. 3

    Bread the Fish

Dip each redfish fillet first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the flour-cornmeal mixture. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  5. 5

    Fry the Fish

Carefully add the breaded redfish fillets to the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

For the Garlic Butter Angel Hair Pasta

  1. 6

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 7

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Combine Pasta and Garlic Butter

Add the drained pasta to the garlic butter, season with salt and chopped parsley, and toss to combine.

For the Crawfish Cream

  1. 9

    Prepare the Crawfish Cream

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the crawfish tails and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  2. 10

    Add Cream and Seasoning

Pour in the heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Assembly

  1. 11

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place a serving of garlic butter angel hair pasta, top with a fried redfish fillet, and drizzle the crawfish cream over the top.
