Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crust

Slice the baguette or French bread into 1-inch thick slices. Brush each slice with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Set aside.

Mixing the Bake

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, crawfish tails, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and hot sauce. Mix gently to avoid breaking up the crab meat.

  2. 4

    Add Parmesan

Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed. Taste and add salt as needed.

Baking

  1. 5

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

  2. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Toasting the Croutons

  1. 7

    Toast the Bread

While the crab and crawfish bake is in the oven, place the sliced baguette in the oven for about 5-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Hot

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve the crab and crawfish bake hot with the crispy crouton toast on the side.
