Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Seafood

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat and crawfish tails. Gently fold them together to avoid breaking the crab meat.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add a small amount of oil and sauté the diced green bell pepper, celery, onion, and minced garlic until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In the large mixing bowl with the seafood, add the sautéed vegetables, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.

  2. 5

    Add Seasonings

Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper, adjusting the amounts to your taste. Mix everything until evenly incorporated.

Topping and Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare Topping

In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until the crackers are evenly coated.

  2. 7

    Assemble Bake

Transfer the crab and crawfish mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Evenly spread the cracker mixture on top.

  3. 8

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is heated through.

Serving

  1. 9

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your Crab & Crawfish Bake!
