Fresh Ingredients

Chocolate Coating

Optional Toppings

Method

Preparation of Strawberries

  1. 1

    Wash and Dry the Strawberries

Rinse the fresh strawberries under cold water gently. Pat them dry thoroughly with a clean paper towel. Make sure they are completely dry to ensure the chocolate adheres well.

Melting the Chocolate

  1. 2

    Prepare the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Dipping the Strawberries

  1. 3

    Dip Each Strawberry

Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it evenly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Adding Toppings

  1. 4

    Add Optional Toppings

While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the chopped nuts or sprinkles on top of the chocolate-covered strawberries. If using white chocolate drizzle, melt the white chocolate separately and use a fork to drizzle it over the coated strawberries.

Cooling and Serving

  1. 5

    Chill the Strawberries

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. Once set, serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
