Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Cooking BBQ Shrimp

  1. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.

  2. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the shrimp mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Making the Cream Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Cream Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese and Parsley

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 6

    Combine Pasta, Shrimp, and Sauce

In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked pasta, BBQ shrimp, and cream sauce. Toss gently until everything is well coated.
