Wonton Crisps
Tuna Filling
Method
Wonton Crisps
- 1
Prepare the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Fry the Wontons
Carefully place the wonton wrappers one at a time into the hot oil. Fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- 3
Drain and Season
Using a slotted spoon, remove the crispy wontons from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle immediately with salt.
Tuna Filling
- 4
Prepare the Filling
In a medium bowl, combine the drained canned tuna, mayonnaise, soy sauce, chopped green onions, sesame oil, and Sriracha. Mix until well combined.
- 5
Taste and Adjust
Taste the tuna mixture and adjust with more Sriracha if you prefer it spicier, or add more mayonnaise for creaminess.
- 6
Assemble the Spoons
Spoon a generous amount of the tuna filling onto each crispy wonton. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds for garnish.
