Chocolate Mixture

Method

Preparation

1

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, milk powder, and salt. Whisk together until fully combined and there are no lumps.

2

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and water until well blended.

3

Combine Wet and Dry

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir well with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are well incorporated.

Cooking

4

Heat Mixture

Transfer the chocolate mixture into a saucepan and heat over low heat. Stir continuously to prevent burning.

5

Cool Chocolate

Once the mixture starts to thicken and becomes smooth, remove from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Serving

6

Set Chocolate

Pour the cooled chocolate into molds or a lined tray. Allow it to set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.

7

Serve

Once set, break into pieces or remove from molds, and enjoy your homemade Hershey's® chocolate.
