Club Sandwich Assembly

Method

Chicken Strips Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips of about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour in the first, whisk eggs and milk in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place breaded chicken strips in the oil and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Drain Excess Oil

Remove the chicken strips from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Club Sandwich Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and dry the lettuce, slice the tomato, and cook the bacon until crispy.

  2. 7

    Toast the Bread

Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown.

  3. 8

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread. Layer lettuce, tomato slices, bacon, cheddar cheese, and the chicken strips on three slices of bread. Top each sandwich with another slice of bread, mayo side down.

  4. 9

    Cut and Serve

Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately with extra chicken strips on the side if desired.
