General Ingredients

Avocado Smash

Housemade Honey Mustard

Method

Prepare Ingredients

  1. 1

    Roast the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season turkey breast with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Place it in a roasting pan and cook for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.

  2. 2

    Make the Avocado Smash

In a small bowl, mash ripe avocados with a fork. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and mix until creamy but slightly chunky.

  3. 3

    Prepare Produce

Wash and slice tomatoes. Rinse lettuce leaves and sprouts thoroughly. Pat everything dry with paper towels.

  4. 4

    Make Honey Mustard Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Assemble Sandwich

  1. 5

Lightly toast two slices of multigrain bread until golden brown.

  2. 6

Spread a generous layer of the housemade honey mustard onto one slice of the toasted multigrain bread.

  3. 7

Top with a layer of sliced roasted turkey breast, followed by a slice of provolone cheese.

  4. 8

Spread a layer of the avocado smash over the provolone cheese.

  5. 9

Add a handful of fresh sprouts, followed by sliced tomato and crisp lettuce leaves.

  6. 10

Cover with the second slice of toasted multigrain bread.

  7. 11

Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
