Brewing Directions

1

Mashing

In a large brew kettle, heat 5 liters of water to around 70°C (158°F). Add the Pale Malt and Crystal Malt, stirring to ensure there are no clumps. Maintain the temperature for about 60 minutes.

2

Boiling

After mashing, remove the grains and bring the liquid (wort) to a boil. Once boiling, add Cascade Hops and boil for 30 minutes.

3

Adding More Hops

After 30 minutes, add Centennial Hops and continue to boil for another 15 minutes.

4

Cooling and Fermentation

Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller. Once cooled, transfer to a fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal with an airlock and let ferment for 1-2 weeks.

5

Bottling

When fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in a small amount of water and add to the beer. Bottle the beer in sanitized bottles and cap them. Let them condition for another 2 weeks.

6

Serving

Chill the bottles and serve cold. Enjoy your hoppy Dominion City Two Flag IPA!
