Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, cardamom, allspice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined but do not overmix.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil and cook the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce (Optional)
In the same skillet, you can create a simple sauce by adding beef broth and a bit of cream to the drippings. Simmer for a few minutes to combine flavors.
- 5
Serve
Serve the meatballs with lingonberry sauce on the side or drizzled over the top.
