Fries

Method

Preparation of Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 2

    Soak Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Dry the Potatoes

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 5

    Season Fries

In a large bowl, toss the dried potato strips with truffle oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Bake Fries

Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Topping and Serving

  1. 7

    Add Parmesan

Once the fries are out of the oven, immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot fries.

  2. 8

    Garnish

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the fries for a fresh touch.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve the truffle French fries hot, optionally drizzled with additional truffle oil or balsamic glaze.
