Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

Chill the Glass

In a cocktail shaker, add the ice cubes to fill it about halfway.

Prepare the Shaker

Pour the vodka, dry vermouth, and olive brine into the shaker over the ice.

Combine Ingredients

Shake the shaker vigorously for about 15 seconds if you prefer a frothy texture, or stir gently for about 30 seconds for a smoother finish.

Shake or Stir

Remove the martini glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Use a strainer to pour the mixed cocktail into the chilled glass.

Strain and Serve

Add the two whole olives to the cocktail as a garnish.
