Blue Cheese Dip
Method
Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack. Drizzle vegetable oil over the wings.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Buffalo Sauce
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 6
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are baked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
Blue Cheese Dip
- 7
Mix the Dip
In a medium bowl, crumble the blue cheese and then add the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the dip is smooth and creamy.
- 8
Chill the Dip
Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
