Pork Belly Preparation

Prepare the Pork Belly
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the pork belly with salt and pepper, then place it in a baking dish. Bake for about 2 hours until tender. Let cool slightly, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

Glaze the Pork Belly
In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, whiskey, honey, and additional salt and pepper. Heat over medium heat until bubbly. Stir in the chopped pork belly and cook for another 5 minutes until well-coated.
Onion Rings Preparation

Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add cold water until achieving a smooth batter.

Fry the Onion Rings
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Dip onion rings into the batter, then carefully place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Macaroni
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Add cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix until well combined. Transfer to a serving dish.

Top the mac and cheese with the BBQ whiskey-honey glazed pork belly. Add crispy onion rings on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!
