Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Tenders
1. Cut the chicken breast into strips. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk together.
- 2
Coat the Chicken
2. Dip each chicken strip first into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 4
Prepare the Fries
4. While the chicken is frying, wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips. Rinse them under cold water, then dry thoroughly.
- 5
Fry the Fries
5. In a separate pot, heat oil for frying. Fry the potato strips in batches for about 4-5 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Serve
6. Season the fries with salt and serve alongside the crispy chicken tenders.
