Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a rocks glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Angel's Envy Whiskey, Fernet Branca, and cardamom bitters. Add ice and stir well until the mixture is chilled.

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled rocks glass. Atomize or rinse the inside of the glass with absinthe, discarding any excess.

Strain and Serve
Strain the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist to enhance the aroma.
