Churros Dough Preparation

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Add Flour
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and quickly stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until a smooth dough forms.

Incorporate Eggs
Allow the dough to cool slightly, then beat in 2 large eggs one at a time until fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

Pipe Churros
Transfer the churro dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe long strips of dough directly into the hot oil, cutting with scissors to your desired length.

Fry Until Golden
Fry the churros for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Remove them and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Sugar Mixture
In a shallow bowl, mix together 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Heat Cream
In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat 1 cup of heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.

Add Chocolate
Remove from heat and add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth and fully melted.

Finish Sauce
Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the sauce.
