Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the Westward Single Malt whiskey, Demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters.

Stir with Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is chilled.

Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with one large ice cube.

Garnish
Express the oils of the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish. Add the maraschino cherry on top.
