Preparation of the Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Mozzarella
Cube the fresh mozzarella cheese into small pieces and mix it with the tomatoes and basil.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the mixture, then add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Toast the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast them in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown. You can also grill them if preferred.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Toast
Remove the toasted bread from the oven or grill. Spoon the tomato, basil, and mozzarella mixture onto the oiled side of each slice.
