Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bell Peppers

Wash the bell peppers, slice the tops off, and remove the seeds and membranes from inside. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Rice

In a small pot, bring 200 ml of water to a boil. Add the white rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until rice is cooked. Set aside to cool.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Meat and Seasoning

Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in the cooked rice, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Stuff the Peppers

Remove the skillet from heat and let the filling cool slightly. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture, pressing down gently to fit all the filling.

  6. 6

    Cook the Stuffed Peppers

Place the stuffed peppers upright in a large pot. Pour 500 ml of water around the peppers. Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for about 30-35 minutes until the peppers are tender.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the pot from heat. Garnish the stuffed peppers with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
