    Prepare the Pork

    In a slow cooker, combine the pork shoulder, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, and water. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds.

    Shred the Pork

    Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Mix the shredded pork back with the BBQ sauce.

Coleslaw

    Make the Coleslaw

    In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Add the shredded cabbage and carrot, and toss until well coated.

Onion Rings

    Prepare the Onion Rings

    In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Dip onion rings into the batter, then deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

To Assemble

    Assemble the Sandwich

    Place a generous amount of BBQ pulled pork on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with coleslaw and onion rings, then place the top half of the bun on. Serve immediately.
