Cooking Instructions

- 2
Cook the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- 3
Brown the Meat
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 7-10 minutes until the meat is browned all over.
- 4
Add Garlic and Seasonings
Stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 5
Incorporate Tomatoes and Broth
Pour in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir everything together to combine well.
- 6
Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Allow the sauce to cook uncovered for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce should thicken and the flavors meld together.
- 7
Cook the Spaghetti
While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 8
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
