Espresso TERROR – Dipped MISU Ingredients
Method
Espresso TERROR – Dipped MISU Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Espresso
Brew 1 cup of espresso coffee and set aside to cool.
- 2
Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mascarpone cheese, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Use an electric mixer to whip until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- 3
Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the cooled espresso, ensuring they are soaked but not falling apart. Lay them in a single layer in a serving dish.
- 4
Layer the Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the first layer of dipped ladyfingers in the serving dish.
- 5
Repeat Layers
Dip another set of ladyfinger cookies in espresso and arrange them on top of the mascarpone layer. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over this layer.
- 6
Chill the Dessert
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- 7
Prepare the Chocolate Decoration
Melt 100g of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler. Once melted, drizzle the chocolate over the top of the chilled dessert before serving.
- 8
Serve with Cocoa Powder
Dust the top of the dessert with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder just before serving for an extra touch of flavor.
