Method
Crabcake
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the jumbo lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold the mixture until well combined, being careful not to break the crab meat.
- 2
Form the Crabcakes
Shape the mixture into 2 large patties, about 4 inches in diameter. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- 3
Cook the Crabcakes
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the crabcakes in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Sausage Gravy
- 4
Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through.
- 5
Make the Gravy
Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir well to combine. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Keep warm.
Waffles
- 6
Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- 7
Cook the Waffles
Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Repeat until all batter is used.
Delly Potatoes
- 8
- 9
Cook the Potatoes
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
