Method
Preparing the Fries
- 1
Cook the Fries
Preheat your oven or air fryer as per the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries on a baking sheet or air fryer basket and drizzle with vegetable oil. Bake or air fry until golden brown and crispy, approximately 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
Making the Crab Dip
- 2
Prepare the Dip
In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, lump crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembling the Annapolis Fries
- 3
Top the Fries
Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven or air fryer. Immediately spoon generous amounts of the crab dip over the hot fries, ensuring they are well covered. Sprinkle with additional Old Bay seasoning and shredded cheddar cheese.
- 4
Melt the Cheese
Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- 5
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Annapolis Fries while they’re hot!
