Chicken Marinade

Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
Grilling the Chicken

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let it Rest
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare the Buns
Slice the toasted sandwich buns in half and spread mayonnaise on each side.

Assemble the Sandwich
Place a leaf of romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each bun. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the lettuce. Add slices of ripe tomato on top of the chicken.

Top with the other half of the bun, press down gently, and serve immediately.
