Clean the Fish
Rinse the whole fish under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Ensure the fish is gutted and scaled.
- 2

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, and juice of half a lemon. Mix well.
- 3
Season the Fish
Rub the marinade all over the fish, inside and out, ensuring it is well coated.
- 4
Stuff the Fish
Slice the remaining half of the lemon and stuff the slices inside the fish along with the fresh herbs and crushed garlic cloves.
Cooking
- 5
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 6
Prepare the Baking Dish
Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- 7
Bake the Fish
Place the seasoned fish in the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- 8
