Method

Preparation of Salad Base

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Ingredients

Begin by washing all the leafy greens thoroughly under cold water. Spin dry in a salad spinner or pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Dice the tomato, mango, cucumber, and red onion into bite-sized pieces. Grate the carrot using a box grater or food processor.

  3. 3

    Combine the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the leafy greens, chopped tomato, mango, cucumber, red onion, and grated carrot. Toss gently to mix.

Preparation of Tropical Dressing

  1. 4

    Mix the Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl or jar, combine the olive oil, lime juice, honey, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Whisk together or shake well until emulsified.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the tropical dressing over the salad mixture. Toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly with the dressing.
