Espresso Base

Brandy Mix

Method

Espresso Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew Espresso

Start by brewing 2 shots of espresso coffee using your espresso machine. Make sure to use freshly ground coffee for the best flavor.

  2. 2

    Prepare Water

Measure 60 ml of water and heat it until it's warm but not boiling. This will help to dilute the espresso without compromising its flavor.

Brandy Mix Preparation

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine the Spanish brandy, sugar, and the cinnamon stick. Heat gently over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely, stirring occasionally.

  2. 4

    Infuse Flavors

Allow the mixture to warm for about 5 minutes, letting the cinnamon flavor infuse into the brandy. Do not let it boil.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Combine Espresso and Brandy

In a large mug, pour the brewed espresso shots. Carefully add the warm brandy mixture into the mug and stir gently to combine.

  2. 6

    Add Whipped Cream

Top the mixture with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream, allowing it to sit gently on top of the drink.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle cocoa powder and cinnamon powder over the whipped cream for garnish. Serve immediately while hot.
