Main Ingredients

Red Peruvian Sauce

Method

Preparing the Rib Eye

  1. 1

    Season the Rib Eye

Rub the grass-fed rib eye with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat a grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until it is hot.

  3. 3

    Cook the Rib Eye

Place the seasoned rib eye on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Meat

Remove the rib eye from the heat and let it rest on a plate for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Making the Red Peruvian Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the red bell pepper and peel the garlic cloves. Rinse and roughly chop the cilantro.

  2. 6

    Blend the Sauce

In a blender or food processor, combine the red bell pepper, garlic cloves, cilantro, red wine vinegar, cumin, chili powder, and salt to taste. Blend until smooth.

  3. 7

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with more salt or vinegar if desired.
