Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic

While the spaghetti is cooking, finely chop the garlic cloves.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 4

    Combine Spaghetti and Garlic

Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it, reserving a little pasta water. Add the spaghetti to the pan with sautéed garlic. Toss to combine, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if necessary to create a light sauce.

  5. 5

    Add Parmesan and Season

Grate 100 grams of Parmesan cheese and add it to the spaghetti. Toss everything together, then season with black pepper and adjust salt if needed.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Chop fresh basil and sprinkle over the spaghetti before serving. Enjoy your Spaghetti Parmesan!
