Method
Preparing the Patties
- 1
Mixing the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine 1.5 lbs of ground beef with 1 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overworking the meat.
- 2
Forming the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions of approximately 6 oz each. Shape each portion into a burger patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during grilling.
