Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Rinse the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Drain well.

  2. 2

    Set Up Steamer

In a pot, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket over the pot, ensuring that the water does not touch the bottom of the basket.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Steam the Edamame

Add the rinsed edamame pods to the steamer basket. Cover with a lid and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pods are bright green and tender.

  2. 4

    Season the Edamame

Once the edamame is cooked, remove it from the steamer. While the edamame is still warm, sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning and salt to taste. Toss to combine.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve

Transfer the seasoned edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy warm as a snack or appetizer.
