Prepare the Edamame
Rinse the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities. Drain well.

Set Up Steamer
In a pot, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket over the pot, ensuring that the water does not touch the bottom of the basket.
Cooking

Steam the Edamame
Add the rinsed edamame pods to the steamer basket. Cover with a lid and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pods are bright green and tender.

Season the Edamame
Once the edamame is cooked, remove it from the steamer. While the edamame is still warm, sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning and salt to taste. Toss to combine.
