Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Stuffing

In a bowl, combine crab meat, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Blackfish

Take the blackfish fillets and create a pocket by cutting them horizontally without slicing all the way through. Stuff each fillet with the crab mixture.

  3. 3

    Coat the Fish

Dredge each stuffed fillet in chopped pecans, pressing to adhere well.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Garlic Potatoes

In a pot, boil diced garlic potatoes until tender, then drain and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add asparagus, and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 6

    Cook the Blackfish

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the pecan-crusted blackfish and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 7

    Make the Worcestershire Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, add Worcestershire sauce and stir to combine with the remaining butter and pan drippings. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

  5. 8

    Serve

Plate the garlic potatoes and sautéed asparagus, top with the pecan-crusted blackfish, and drizzle with Worcestershire butter sauce.
