Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Claws
Rinse the crab claws under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- 3
Coat the Crab Claws
Dip each crab claw first into the egg mixture, then coat it with the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully covered.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- 5
Fry the Crab Claws
Carefully add the coated crab claws to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried crab claws and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm with cocktail sauce on the side if available.
