Directions

1

Prepare the Custard Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

2

Soak the Texas Toast

Dip each slice of Texas toast into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated. Let them soak for a minute.

3

Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the house sausage until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

4

Fry the French Toast

In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the soaked Texas toast slices and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed.

5

Serve

Plate the fried French toast and serve warm with house sausage and a drizzle of maple syrup over the top.
