Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Tillamook cheddar on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On a plate, place the bottom half of the burger bun. Add the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the char burger with house-cut fries on the side.
