Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Form the mixture into two equal-sized burger patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip them over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they reach your desired doneness.

Adding Toppings

  1. 3

    Prepare the Bacon

While the patties are cooking, in a separate skillet, cook the applewood bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the burger patties, place a slice of pepperjack cheese on each patty and cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.

  3. 5

    Prepare Jalapenos

Slice the jalapenos in half and remove the seeds if you prefer them less spicy. Grill them for about 1-2 minutes or until they are slightly charred.

Assembling the Bomb Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place the burger patty with melted pepperjack cheese. Add two slices of crispy applewood bacon and top with grilled jalapeno halves. Place the top half of the bun on the burger.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the Bomb Burger hot with your favorite side dishes like fries or a salad.
