Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Forming the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined, then divide into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 3

    Frying the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the applewood bacon slices. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 4

    Adding Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the patties, place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cover the grill or skillet with a lid to help melt the cheese.

  2. 5

    Building the Burger

To assemble, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Add the cheeseburger patty, followed by crispy bacon, sliced tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
