Wings

Method

Preparation of Wings

  1. 1

    Clean and Dry Wings

Start by rinsing the chicken wings under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Preheat Oven or Grill

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium-high heat.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 4

    Bake or Grill the Wings

Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly on the grill. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, or grill for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, vinegar, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.

BBQ Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Combine BBQ Ingredients

In a separate saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 8

    Simmer the BBQ Sauce

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to bubble. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Toss and Serve

  1. 9

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and pour the desired sauce (Buffalo or BBQ) over them. Toss until the wings are fully coated.

  2. 10

    Serve Hot

Serve the wings hot with your choice of dipping sauces and sides.
