Seafood and Pasta
Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Seafood
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp and scallops, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until shrimp are pink and scallops are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 3
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Everything
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne, sautéed seafood, and Alfredo sauce. Mix well to ensure the pasta is well-coated.
- 5
Bake the Dish
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Prepare Garlic Toast
While the dish is baking, prepare the garlic bread according to package instructions or your preferred recipe.
- 7
Serve
Once baked, remove the seafood pasta from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with garlic toast on the side.
