Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Penne
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with blackening seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- 4
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, lower the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Combine
Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss until well coated. Slice the blackened chicken and lay it on top of the pasta.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Blackened Chicken Alfredo hot, optionally garnished with additional Parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper.
