Prepare Coffee Mixture

Brew Espresso
Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and let it cool slightly.

Mix with Liqueur
In a shallow bowl, combine the brewed espresso with 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur. Set aside.
Prepare Mascarpone Mixture

Beat Egg Yolks
In a mixing bowl, beat the 3 egg yolks with 100g of granulated sugar until pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold in 500g of mascarpone cheese until smooth.

Whip Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently until well combined. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Assemble Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layering
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
Chill and Serve

Refrigerate
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving, dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Slice and enjoy your homemade tiramisu!
