Preparation of Steak Tartare

    Prepare the Beef

    Finely dice the prime beef tenderloin into small cubes. Make sure to use a sharp knife to ensure clean cuts.

    Mix Ingredients

    In a mixing bowl, combine the diced beef, capers, Dijon mustard, finely minced shallot, egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce, jalapeño oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until everything is well incorporated.

    Taste and Adjust

    Taste the tartare mixture and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

Preparation of Toast Points

    Prepare the Baguette

    Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

    Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush one side with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
