Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  2. 2

    Scramble the Eggs

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour into the skillet. Scramble until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

    Stir-Fry the Rice

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds. Add the cooked rice and soy sauce, stirring well to combine. Cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

  4. 4

    Combine Everything

Slice the rested steak thinly and add it to the rice along with the scrambled eggs. Mix everything together and cook for another minute.

  5. 5

    Serve

Spoon the fried rice into bowls. Add your choice of garnishes: spicy kimchi, mild kimchi, green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and your selected sauce.
