Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Brew Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves from the brewed tea using a fine mesh strainer. Stir in 1 cup of sugar until completely dissolved.

  4. 4

    Cool the Tea

Let the sweetened tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

Assembling the Drink

  1. 5

    Prepare Glasses

Fill two tall glasses with 1 cup of ice cubes each.

  2. 6

    Pour Iced Tea

Pour the chilled sweetened Thai tea over the ice in each glass, filling them about 2/3 full.

  3. 7

    Add Milk

Top off each glass with 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup of evaporated milk. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy your refreshing Thai iced tea!
