Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) to prepare for baking the meatballs.

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until fully combined.

Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare Ricotta Mixture
In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Assembly

Assemble the Dish
Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Place a generous spoonful of garlic ricotta on a plate, top with meatballs, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.

Melt the Cheese
Return the assembled dish to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve warm.
