Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Rinse the chicken wings or tenders under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
- 2
Marinate (Optional)
If desired, marinate the chicken in any of the sauces for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the chicken wings or tenders to the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- 5
Drain
Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to transfer the chicken to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Saucing
- 6
Buffalo Sauce
In a bowl, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and mix in hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
- 7
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
In a saucepan, melt 1 cup of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, then toss the fried chicken in the sauce.
- 8
Smokey BBQ Sauce
In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, and honey. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
